  • Notes

Pinus strobus 'Contorta' is an evergreen tree. Grows to 100 ft. or more at a fast rate. Symmetrical cone shape with horizontal branches in regular whorls. Needles are 2-4in. and blue green. Cones are 3-8 in., slender, often curved, and light brown.
The White Pine is an inportant timber tree, but must be monitored for burn due to its susceptibility in windy areas. It will survive in many types of soils, as long as they remain well-drained.
