Blue lvs, tall narrow trunk, spectacular summer display of cream white flwrs. One of the most attr. tree yuccas. Forms trunk 10'. Young usually unbranched older a few. Narrow blue lvs up to 2' long x 1/2" wide with sharp term. spine. Young similar to rigida but older is taller with narrower form. Prefers full sun or very light shade & rocky well drained soil. Susceptible to grubs. Should be treated w/ Diazinon 2x yearly. Chihuahuan desert canyons & rocky slopes Old leaves persist. Slow.
