The Chir PIne has medium to fast-paced growth to a height of 60-80'. It forms a slender pyramid that later develops into a round-topped tree (30'40' wide) with a symmetrical head. The light green needles are 8-13" long and are grouped in 3's. Its cones produce edible pine nuts.
Planting Instructions: 1. Dig a hole 2 times the width and 1 and 1/2 times the height of the container. 2. Set rootball at ground level. 3. Prepare soil mix of equal parts soil and soil amendment. 4. Backfill with amended soil. 5. Build Basin and water.
