Native on rocky slopes even caliche West Texas west. Perennial groundcover will even grow in shallow caliche. Full sun. Drought tolerant with some additional moisture will bloom till frost. Fast. Will reseed. Yellow daisies 1". Silvery foliage. Herbaceous. Constantly in bloom in low desert from spring until late fall. It can then be cut to the ground for fresh regrowth in spring. Spreads also by underground rhizomes.
